Home Removals W1 Can Be Cheap Even if you Hire Professionals

Moving home can be a stressful and tiring process. Anyone who has moved before who knows someone that’s moved before will probably agree. There’s so much to take care of; the packing, driving, loading and unloading … the list goes on and on. For a person conducting a small move with lots of free time, this might not seem so bad, but for London residents with a full time job, children and other commitments to worry about, it could be an absolute nightmare.

It could be a nightmare, but on the other hand it doesn’t have to be. Because instead of handling everything yourself, you could hire a professional removal or packing company, or both if you require them. The W1 post code area has access to plenty of these services, and I bet you think they’re pretty expensive. Well, to tell the truth, they can be. But if you hire the right ones and request only the relevant service packages, they don’t have to break the bank. To explain why, I’m going to run through both of the services, one at a time to showcase how they can help make you move less of a stress. And, perhaps more importantly – how to save money on each.

Removal companies

A professional removal company is the most important asset when considering moving professionals. They’re all but necessary on larger W1 moves, and will handle everything to do with the transport and handling of your goods. They’ll do this for a lower price than you might think.

But if a professional W1 mover is out of your price range, consider a man and van removal firm. They’re ideal for first time movers and those on a budget, because they’ll handle every job that a full on removal company will, but at a lower price point. As a result though, you do have to sacrifice man power. A man and van company will only have one, two, perhaps three members of staff at their disposal. A professional has a larger team.

For those undertaking a larger move, a W1 man and van company might not be an option, but for small to medium sized moves, you can’t really go wrong.

Packing companies

Packing companies are professionals with more specific tasks in mind; packing and unpacking. Some will supply their own materials, and most will offer a service tailor made to the customer. They’ll survey all of the items that you want them to pack, so they can make a proper price estimate and gather the resources they will need for the job.

Packing companies are typically a luxury, and because of this may be quite expensive. Especially if you’ve got a lot of things to pack. Don’t worry though, because there’s ways to cut costs here too. Instead of hiring one of these companies to handle both the packing and unpacking, why not split the work? Have the company handle the unpacking and do the packing yourself (or vice versa). That way, you will save a lot of money, and save a lot of time.

Saving money is important, but it should never be at the cost of a good service. So you should definitely do your research before you hire any of these companies. You can read reviews online, or ask people you trust to point you in the right direction. A removal or packing company that does its job well is worth every penny, one that doesn’t do things properly is worth nothing at all. Just keep that in mind, and you’ll be able to find the right mover for you.
